Keeping a low body temperature really helps me.

Hi, want to congratulate you on your MS & intelligence page. Excellent page! and I wish to congratulate you on a superb site.
Following the idea of strategies to help other people with Multiple Sclerosis, since I was diagnosed back in 2002 I really did not have much trouble with any of the “cognitive functions” mentioned on the videos but a couple of years ago I did started to notice a sort of mental tiredness. I believe other people with MS would know exactly what I am talking about.
Anyway, I try to keep and maintain a low body temperature, and even placed an ice bag (like those you can get at any pharmacy) whenever I feel like my head is filled with smoke of something.
Anyway, I have found that by doing that I start feeling better and at least it feels like my mind is not running all over the town with ideas (LOL).
I read your cooling vest advice and I think it is something worth considering.
Anyhow, just my two cents to help others.
Best regards,
MaryAnn

Dear MaryAnn:
I just finished reviewing your contribution with your tip to my MS-multiple-sclerosis-symptoms.com website and I would like to thank you for taking the time to share with me and a growing number of readers that are visiting this site every month.
I find your advice on using an ice bag over the head to be a very easy and functional one. I myself have used that particular tip many times in the past.
Sometimes It feels like you are walking with fog in the brain at times does it not? I think is better to laugh and not think to much about it.
I lived in Nicaragua and the weather here can be very hostile (for lack of a better word) for folks like you and me with Multiple Sclerosis.
I appreciate your comment and please come back as often as you want and contribute more great tips and strategies. I know must folks around here appreciate all the help.
Please take care and be well,
Alex
