About Symptoms

by Kate Muffoletto
(Havre de Grace, MD )

Hello,

Can symptoms last only for a few days then go away and come back a week later? For instances, I have been experiencing distored and double vision, earing pain, and inability to walk in a straight line.

thanks - kate

Dear Kate:

MS symptoms can and are totally unpredictable. Vision problems such as the one you mentioned are commonly seen in MS patients but they are not exclusive to MS. Having said that, my recommendation to you would be to see a neurologist and he/she should be able to help you.

Best regards and take care,

Alex
